Founded in 2013 by Jake and Josh Akman in honor of their grandfather, Dr. Richard Hollander, The Dick Hollander Open™ is a charity golf tournament that raises money for Alzheimer’s research. “A retired pediatrician and an extremely loving man, our grandfather has suffered for more than 15 years from Alzheimer’s. He taught us both how to play the game of golf, so what better way to honor him than hosting a tournament in his name?,” says Jake Akman, 24.
